Mission Statement

St. Michael’s Youth Ministry seeks to help young people with personal and spiritual growth and seeks to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of this faith community.

Program Goals

The overall goals for the Youth Ministry Program at St. Michael’s are derived from Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry as published by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops in June 1997. The overall goals are consistent with and support the Three Year Goals established by the Youth Ministry Envision Program team in 2007.

Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
